Sanctuary Spa Haul

Every year, there are great sales to be found and especially between Christmas and new years, sale signs are pretty much everywhere.

Last year, Priceline really stepped it up with their Christmas sales. Not only was their gift range incredibly cheap but the packaging and sale of different brands have been pretty awesome.

One brand I’ve been meaning to try out is Sanctuary Spa. So of course when there were sales, I couldn’t help but contain myself.

Firstly, for a drugstore brand, can we tip our hats off to how cute and beautiful their packaging looks? Although sleek and simple, their packaging just gives off that nice polished look. Their bottles are made of plastic but just something about the feel and touch of them makes you feel as though you are being pampered in the very comfort of your own home.

Depending on the product, each bottle has either a hole, pump or spray cap to make it easier to get to the goodies inside. With or without their caps, their cute packaging is totally adorable!

If you haven’t heard of this brand before, up until recently, there was a ‘Sanctuary Spa’ located in Covent Garden, UK where these products were used by therapists on the thousands of women who would go there to get pampered every year. These products are made of natural ingredients, are against animal testing and are paraben free.

Here are a few things I picked up:

Hot sugar scrub : this has been raved about and has some pretty good reviews so I’m itching to try this. The fact that the beads become hot upon application is an interesting concept yet concerns me a little in terms of how hot it’ll be. Hopefully not too hot right?

Opening this up, straight off the bat it smells absolutely divine!

Hrmm moisture for 5 days? I’m usually very skeptic about products that claim to stay on your skin for 48 hours or in this case, keep you moisturised for 5 days. Usually they don’t last any longer than 1-2 days. Can’t imagine this staying on for 5 with showers in between?

Lotions, lotions, I love lotions! Just can’t get enough. Especially for everyday wear, moisturisers are nice and light compared to a body butter or creams. They’re also perfect to keep in your bag for regular use.

Lastly, I picked up the feather-light moisture spray. Again this seems pretty interesting as the consistency of this product is like water – very liquidy and runny. I know Palmer’s and vaseline have similar spray lotions but even so, they are not as light and watery as this.

At such affordable prices, these will last you a good few months!
