Planning and organising can get overwhelming if you don’t know where to start, what to plan, or how to even plan. Maybe the thought of planning is enough to discourage you and make you want to think about doing something else.
Planning can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be, as what you make it to be. It doesn’t have to involve expensive fancy notebooks, colourful pens and pretty stickers, all that can come later (it’s fun trust me!) but for now, a plain old notebook and a pen will do just fine.
The important thing is in order for you to start having some kind of structure in your life, we need to come up and find a system to put in place that works for you. You see with structure, once you get a rhythm happening, things should work as close to clockwork as possible. It’s not perfect because nothing is perfect and life never goes according to plan, but at least a part of your life is sorted so that you can spend time focusing on other more important things in life.
There is no one size fits all as every one of us is unique and different in our own way. What works for me won’t work for you and that’s fine! Likewise, what you find works best for you may not work for somebody else, and that’s ok too! It’s not meant to! As long as we start somewhere, we can begin to unravel the different pieces of the puzzle and filter through what works for you.
I’m not an expert at planning by any means, but I’ve come across a few tips and tricks on what I found works for me and am willing to help you figure yours out too. Life is too stressful enough already as it is, and finding the right tools and implementing the right system can help make all the difference to your life. It is a journey that only you can be prepared to take, a journey that I very much look forward to sharing with you.
Is planning something you’d like to get on top of? Are you passionate about planning? Do you have any tips? I’d love to hear them!
