Hi loves, hope you’re doing well. I cannot believe it’s already August, only one month of Winter left here in Australia then bring on Spring! It’s been a while since I’ve last posted an empties post, it’s not a very big one today but still one nonetheless ^^
First up is the Alpha H Vitamin E serum with macadamia. I have a feeling they’ve reformulated this since I last bought this as the newer ones are labelled Vitamin E serum with 1% ceramide complex. I loved this product because I actually noticed a difference in my skin leaving it feel moisturised and soft after I applied moisturiser over the top. I also love that this is Australian made and doesn’t include ingredients like parabens and SLS sulphates.
Tip: I know Alpha H products can be a little steep at full retail price so if you happen to have a TK Maxx store near you if you’re in Australia, make sure to stop by and suss out their beauty section as you might find them at a discounted price. It’s a great way to try out new products that you may otherwise never would have at full prices 😉
Next I have Aldi’s Lacura Caviar Illumination Anti-aging night cream. Unlike the UK, this range is only available in Australia during special buy promotion periods once or twice a year and used to cause a frenzy whenever they were on sale. Within a few minutes of store opening, people would run to get their hands on these and they’d sell out so fast – I know because I was there one time!
These creams are worth the hype as not only are they affordable and worth the price but very moisturising too. I have gone through several of these (in both the day and night versions) and have more back ups in case I run out. They are that good! It is on the thicker side so a little does go a long way. I prefer to use this in the winter to give my skin the extra moisture and then switch out to something a bit lighter and not as heavy during the summer months.
Another great product I’ve been loving that I’ve purchased time and time again is the Innisfree green tea serum. I think this is my third bottle now. I love Innisfree because they just seem to work so well on my skin. I like to apply this in the mornings under my SPF moisturiser and sometimes even at night too. It’s a little thicker than the Alpha H serum and has a very slight green tea smell. This will definitely be another repurchase for me for sure.
Finally, another one of my all time favourite repetitious buys is the Maybelline face studio master conceal concealer. I just realised most of the products I’ve mentioned are repurchases! I just love this concealer. Lately I’ve been using it more to spot conceal, then dust a bit of powder foundation over the top and I’m good to go. The coverage is great and I have this in multiple shades to suit my skin shade during different seasons. Love love!
What are some of your favourite repurchase products?
Till next time xo
